Kimberly Wong was a member of The Ring, one of two who grew disillusioned to Travis Donovan's power-hungry ways and 'turned snitch' against them. In exchange for their information, they were allowed to relocate themselves outside the Spook Squad's area of responsibility.
Their information was integral to the Spook Squad being able to defeat The Ring.
